Hi, I’m Joshua Lindsay, currently working as Senior Consultant at Daemon. I joined Daemon in 2021, and it has been an incredible journey so far.
How did your career begin?
I began my career in Construction as a Junior Web Developer for Rydon. Over the years, I transitioned to various roles, including Backend Developer at Code working primarily with Mercedes-Benz, Software Engineer at Raytheon in their Cyber Intelligence and Space division, before joining Daemon as Senior Consultant.

What is your day-to-day like at Daemon?
A typical day for me involves attending standup, diving into project work and attending any other meetings set out in the day. I’m currently working on a project within the Home Office, which is very exciting because of the variety of technologies currently being used and the complexity of the work being produced keeps me on my toes.
What advice would you give to others?
To anyone starting out, I would say find something that takes you out of your comfort zone, as most of the time it will aid you in the long run. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that becoming great at one thing is not always the right approach, being good at many things has better value.

What do you enjoy doing outside
of work?
Outside of work, I love Mountain Biking, Paintball, and Motorsport. I’m an avid fan of Formula 1, and I find inspiration from my Family and watching my son grow up. Here’s a fun fact about me: I serve as a Reserve Soldier for the British Army as a Ground Crew Specialist within the Army Air Corp. Plus, I have a hidden talent for identifying most supercars by the sound of the engine. Looking ahead, I aim to continue growing my career in tech. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
